Sandbagging

As many know, last year Murray dealt with some flooding from the "little" Cottonwood Creek. This year the city has decided on a preemptive strike and sandbagging parties have begun :) One was during Ladies' Day and the second is during our next "yardwork" day. A few of the men (Bob, Ray, Will and Mike. . . and perhaps some others I don't know about) headed over for the first sandbagging day, while the Ladies' met for our annual Ladies' Day. Bob even made the NEWS!!! Mike and Will had been moved to a second location so they weren't at the park location when I ran over to take a few photos. This is such a great way to just meet other people in our neighborhood and to show that our congregation cares about people (and their homes and our community) on a very local level.
