Ladies' Day 2011

On Saturday May 7th nearly 50 women from Logan to Moab and from Tooele to Salt Lake, met together to share in fellowship, faith building, and a few tears shed. The singing was amazing, the lessons were edifying and the company was incredible. Thank you to all who made it possible and all who attended.

The Set-Up Registration: Cantrell and Penny Everyone arriving Time for brunch Nearly 50 ladies in line to dine Each of the tables during brunch Door Prizes. . . looking for a sticker on the bottom of plates Winners Rhonda starts us off with a song. . . Lucy: scripture reading (later I will miss Rae reading her verse and we will skip the third scripture reading. . . oh well) Joy: Intro to Tanya Tanya Pirtle: Do Justice Vinessa leads a few songs too Judy: Intro to Susan Susan Jew: Love KindessSinging. . . . the voices of 50 or so ladies singing together was MUSIC TO MY EARS (and to the ears of a few men folk wandering the halls at random intervals. . .sneaky sneaky) Lana: Emcee Breakout Session Jerri: Break out Session Instructions Writing Cards and discussing what our congregations are doing in our respective communities After the break. . .Kay: Intro to Holly Andrews Holly Andrews: Walk Humbly with your God Speaker Gifts, Thank you and Closing Lizbeth: Closing Prayer Visiting after we ended around 1pm (visiting lasted until 2:30pm) Julie and her husband now work in Moab, Julie is a friend of mine from high school and we were in the same youth group in CA together, this is her daughter and my daughter together (Sarah, 8, Alani nearly 5)
