This year, for various reasons, our annual Children's Easter Egg Hunt landed ON Easter. Along with this we had an Easter Day fellowship and BBQ. We welcomed TWO new souls into the family of Christ through baptism, Vicky and Jim. The weather was spectacular (though the weather forecast called for rain, it held for this Ressurection Day celebration). We had nearly 30 visitors on this day, both family members and neighborhood visitors. It was a lovely day to celebrate a FANTASTIC and miraculous event.
Vicky's Baptism Visiting with friends Jr. High/High School/College groups hiding eggs Hunting WHILE they were hiding them I think he's the ONLY person who could reach that egg Ready for the hunt. . . They spot it. . . They reach for it. . . They go look for some on the ground instead :) We moved into the front yard for the littler hunters. . . and we have a mama and papa duck nesting in our Ivy (I hope she didn't confuse any of these for her own babies) Now you'll see others from the congregation who are waiting for FOOOOOD Visiting Sharing the conquests Ladies at the grill. . .(and a supervisor) Enjoying lunch If anyone has photos of the two baptisms, feel free to email them to me and I'll include them here
